Fish-cador wrote:My friend called me Monday afternoon to report that there were nice snappers from this pier Sunday evening. There was no action on Monday evening. Even Nick (resident fisho) and other other danglers on bicycles did not catch any garfish. I did not go there last night because the wind was northerly.

WHEN did you snag that one?

That bloody jacket seems familiar. :D
Yeh Nick was there & caught some Gar's , i caught the Snapper 27/09/11 Tuesday evening during the Northly wind . just goes to show fish are unpredictable , i thought am wasting my time again . New moon & clear water & fresh bait are deadly @ times , now waiting for better weather to launch my tinnie .

I'm new to the forum.

Miker would you be kind enough to say where you caught that beauty.

Thanks
If i did tell you , i'd have to kill you  i'd rather not say , but most of PPB piers produce for those nutters that put in many fishless trips ;)

Fish-cador wrote:See you there tomorrow evening when the howling southerly hits that pier. Bring your ponchos or you will get wet. I know exactly which pier that is. I use the same slotted rails to keep my rods from falling.

When did you snag that one? Tuesday evening or Sunday evening?
OK lets keep the location close to the chest ;)

shazdoggg wrote:Cracking fish there Miker!!! I havent had a serious fish for the reds yet, but your pics are make me wanna scratch my itch. Most serious LB snapper fishos shoudl recognise that pier from the railings and lights in background. If you dont mind revealing, what time and what bait did you get it on?

cheers shazdoggg

Approx 11:00 pm & IQF pilchard for bait on tuesday 27th Sept 2011 .

11PM? :shocker:

UNFAIR! I was hard at work last night around 11, logged in to a customer network helping them sort out their issues so your internet will be fast and you are enjoying your night caressing and kissing that pink fish? :lolf:

Will go there tonight....will stay up to 930PM. It is blowing northerly but who cares? :lolf:
