UNFAIR! I was hard at work last night around 11, logged in to a customer network helping them sort out their issues so your internet will be fast and you are enjoying your night caressing and kissing that pink fish? :lolf:

Will go there tonight....will stay up to 930PM. It is blowing northerly but who cares? :lolf:

Good Luck mate , if a you are wetting a line "anything is possible" . ;)

Snapper are catch-able from a number of pier around the bay. Certain conditions make it more likely at certain piers especially when it is rough.

Mornington comes to mind. Brighton also can produce as well as Mordi, and St Kilda.

Usually the weather conditions mean giving wet weather gear a good testing.

come on fish, live a little :D thunder and lightning, just mean you use the old faithful fibreglass rods, not the graphite ones of today. Back when I was a kid, people loved these stormy nights, they reckon it turned the snapper on to no end, had them go into a feeding frenzy.

I myself am still yet to catch anything larger than 34cm, landbased.

If the wife wasn't working tonight, I'd def be hitting the rocks for a session, can't wait till she is only working the new job, lots more fishing time for me :-D

Best priced? Is that the cheapest? or is it the best priced quality?

Is it for land based, pier or surf ? or boat, squid or snapper, or whiting or gummy? Trout or cod? maybe a few gars?

How long is the rod to be? 6 foot, or 7 or 8 or 9 or 12 or 15?

Spinning or baitcaster?

Soft plastics or bait or lure?

P.S> I still love my Jarvis Walker San Remo and still see a few in action around the piers, and the Jarvis Walker Black Queen is still available.
Generally Catanas are suppose to be pretty good value for money.

The more fishing I do the more specialised my rods are becoming.
