since I've been thinking of buying tarp for a long time, now I had a good excuse to grab one. Drove to Bunnings and went home $50 poorer.

Wind shield - checked! :lolf:

not the best quality but a good one. Why pay $$ for a disposable tarp when something better is just $10 more expensive. I also bought octopus straps, 20 pcs to ensure the kite will not fly away. :captain:

Thanks Doc.

No guts no glory, no pain no gain. Blowing 38 knots in St Kilda area but I haven't changed my mind. Wind will die down a bit in the evening to 15 knots. It should be OK. I am also confident that I will not be alone. Many anglers know this pier produce fish when the bay is like a washing machine.

Will it the road around 530PM. Will post my report when I get home. Not worried about the chill. I have hotteeze to keep me warm...brrrrrrrrrr.
