Thanks for the kind words. @Bowl :Yarra Snapper are ok to eat IMO, bream not so. In any case it will be shared between 2 families so the portion per person will be small.

Ive caught from the Yarra many times.
Would never eat a fish from there! Catch and release is the way to go there.

Was out yesterday 4-9pm

Every man and his dog was in front of willy time ball tower just outside of the channel.

A fair bit of undersized pinkies around. I stayed abit after dark as high tide was at around 9. Every other boat left on sun set. At the time of tide change, I got a 33cm and 32 pinkie. Released to grow bigger.

I did see the boat next to me managed a very good size snapper, apart from that, didn't see any other action.

Any1 here been following these crowds? every1 was in front of princess pier last week.

Hi Nude Up,

It's just HDS unit. Not sure why it is mis identifying fish, but then I have never read the instruction manual either!! I dont use the fish symbols and should probably turn feature that off.

Cheers

I'm guessing about 500m

There was boats just off the channel to all the way in front of time ball tower. Fishing shallows, I rekn casting distance from time ball tower rocks.
