FV port Albert trip. 25,26,27 november

Post by BIG GAV » Mon Oct 12, 2015 5:12 pm

Hi guys as some of you know I am a member of the Preston angling club we have two lodges we use for weekend trips, inter club trips and also rent them to other clubs for there own weekends away.

I am just making a thread here to see if you guys would be keen to make a weekend of it and rent out the lodge for a FV trip? We can bed 12 or so from memory plenty of room for boats to park etc.

From memory as I'm a member we could rent out the lodge at $20 a head opposed to $80 if I wasn't a member! It's a beautiful place the fishing is brilliant so have a think about it and let's make the most of a good opportunity!

Thanks

Gav

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

It available quite a lot.. I'd need to have enough people to consider it before looking at booking a date. Once I book it for a weekend I have to pay the fee so I'd rather know there are a bunch actually keen to go!

Tempting. I stayed with LadyK down there for a couple of nights, but it was during that insane NW wind in the last commonwealth games. So windy I couldnt' even really walk along the foreshore without risking going in.

The fishing is meant to be incredible.

If you've got a boat and have a little knowledge of the area, yes it can be good. Not so much for landbased though. There are some good spots, but very hit and miss.
