so I caught a leather jacket in my yak today. but I noticed something in the side of him, to my syrprise it was a tounge eating louse living in the side of him. height was about 1.5x 50cents and as wide as one, but my good he was fat.probably fatter than the fish and was full of blood :o_0:

That's one of the isopod parasite (I think). They're pretty common. I remember digging some out of leatheries I caught around San Remo a few years ago.

They sometimes get right under the skin when they're small and grow pretty big.

Just as disgusting as those parasites you find inside ST's.

Agreed. Turns me off fish for a while. I almost hate reeling in a Trev just because I know there's a good chance I'll see that little bug thing just chilling in its mouth lol
