I have been using one for years great teaser for skip or switch baiting the more splashing the better mine is pink with a bird at the end

You absolutely do not need them for the kind of fishing you do mate, unless of course you are planning on getting a new boat at the boat show for game fishing…
FYI in case you haven’t seen it in the flesh yet, its not a small contraption by any means
