Post by fishingvic » Sat Jun 04, 2011 11:56 am

We have a Foxtel IQ box that is full of fishing shows that have been recorded on Free to air TV and Foxtel.

So many good fishing shows to watch, but not enought time to watch them all!

What's your favourite fishing show on TV and how do you rate them?

Feel free to add to the list... :bite:

The worst would have to be Extreme fishing with Robson Green

I used to like that Steve, but this last season, they are trying to hard to be sales men for there sponsors and carrying on like twats while doing so(I know they need to, for the program to survive.)

Every fishing show mentions their sponsors but at least these blokes don't use half of the time promoting them. More fishing less advertising I say :gone:

The kids got an Ifish DVD, started watching it, and it was full of ads, so haven't bothered, just glad that I didn't fork out any money for it.

Perhaps out of all the fishing shows, I find Adventure Bound to be the most informative.

catch n cook which is on aurora on foxtel. as the name suggests. They show you how to catch the fish then show you a way of cooking the fish they just caught.

The last I watched was on westernport bay and they caught an elephant and a gummy
