I feel your pain DougieK fished 6 times in the last 2 weeks for 1 Ray and 4 puffer fish, looks like a nice spot you have there.

Dougie, You boys put in the yards for Portland and they paid off, so I'm sure you'll be due another big one soon based on the hard work you're doing to get the results. Top effort mate, well done.

Man very disappointing but thats the way it goes, Im up in QLD and not even got close too the spot I wanted to fish, weather has been sh!te. At least you have had some sun.

Hopefully its the lull before the storm and your next trip you will smash them. Some people would give up true fishermen take times like this in their stride it only takes one good fish to put days like this into a distant memory

What a shame Dougie, 30 hours is a long round trip for nothing mate.. You have a lot more patience than me and you deserved to catch a few after that trip. Great photo and the area really looked like it would have held a few decent fish too... :fish22:
Looks can be deceiving that's for sure.. at least you gave it a crack, better luck next time mate.. :thumbsup: At least you ate well...
