with a 5hour drive from here, we are leaving at 1am, head to ramp and fish all day, stay overnight and see what the weather does sunday

yep, the bloke im going with normally takes his, but cant take it this time, so if we wanted to go, its mine we take..

We'll be running a spread of skirts and Xraps. Personally I'm hoping they take a liking to the duel adagio heavy I'll be throwing at the schools if they are busting.got a 4-8kg stick with a 4000 Stradic I want to get spooled on. Haha

I'm also heading out there with 3 mates. Leaving Friday after work, sleeping the night and launching Saturday at dawn. It seems like there will be a lot of boats heading down to Portland this weekend, so I reckon wait times at the ramp will be a killer. I'd say get at the ramp at least an hour earlier than you had planned to.

With that in mind (and reading some reports online), I might even go further up to Port Mac. Apparently 2 blokes got on to 100kg+ fish today off Port Mac.
