I just watched the video, I love that wait before the reel screams off! Gaffman needs a bit of practice! :P
LOL Yeah I kept telling him that too. That gaff was too long!
haha poor bloke. Doesn't matter if the gaff is a bit long, you just have to time it right and come over the top. Just gives you another excuse to get out there and get some more! I'm sure the misses will understand when you tell her you need to catch more tuna so you're crew can practice their gaffing skills! lol

What worries me is that she may have me on a gaff instead! lol

The issue here are the kids! If I can offload them somewhere for the day, I might be in with a chance :-D

Awsome day. It looks like this coming Saturday the weather is the same!

Apparently the bigger tuna is moving towards east now and will be best fished between Port Fairy and Apollo Bay.
That would be cool...if they keep coming and can launch from barwon heads...lol... that 5hr drive sucked...lol

Haha that's true! How likely is it looking that you might be able to go again?

No mate. The missus has started a small business course and has a class this Saturday from 9-5. If any fishing is going to be done this weekend it will most likely be on Sunday and somewhere local.

LOL - Highly unlikely!

However its highly likely that I will hit WP this weekend to chase some gummies and winter snapper using fresh/frozen tuna leftovers.
