Went one better today, going 1 from 2 bites. Both fish were solid, I ended up tagging and releasing an est 160kg blue, the largest fish I have ever caught.

Just keeps getting better up here!

No doubt scott. 22 feb till 4th march we are there I am not taking my boat this year one of boys I regularly fish with just bought a haines 680 patriot with twin 150 yamahas.he is leaving it down there so should be a quicker trip there this year.
You must fish the same moon phase as us or have you a comp on again.

Gee scot love the water temp. Did you happen to see what the bait is they are chasing it looks well spread out

I think it's mostly flying fish. A lot of that scatter is just scatter on the sounder, but there is a bit of bait around but not sure what it is.


Just up with the family at bermi at the end of February for a week. Comp is labour day weekend, I'll be up there then too.



Went 3-3-3 today, will post some photos when o get round to it, I'm immobilised on the couch at this point in time

3.3.3 great score all blues any sails around they are very close to the top of my list thinking of a trip to malaysia , rompin next year for my birthday

Haven't seen any sails unfortunately.

Went 1-1-1 today on blues, and dropped a black on the leader on the way in.
