Hi guys

Whats everyone's go to rigs for flathead looking to go out from patto soon and have a rod with sp on and was just wondering what other rigs I should have set up for my other Rods?

If bait fishing i like to use a paternoster with 2 hooks on, works well cos it keeps the bait off the bottom and prevents catching banjos. Also im a fan of the humble Hook->1.5m Leader->Swivel->Running ball sinker.

For flathead one of best rigs are paganoster rigs although most rigs will catch flathead if they are around

Running works in ppb over sandy areas.
Softplastic running along the bottom also very effective

I always use just a simple paternoster and do well.

Paternoster uses 2 snared hooks on the ends of dropper loops

I find snapper snatcher style pre made rigs do very well on the flatties I buy the cheap version of them online ezy rig or something similar not sure Id trust em for snapper fishing but Iv never had them fail on the humble flattie

I use the rigmaster whiting circle hook paternoster rig mate, cheap as chips and do easy to use. I generally drift of best results on flatties.
