Can anyone tell me why you bleed so much after getting jabbed by a flathead?

It’s probably got an anticoagulant in it

They say that the first spike on the dorsal fin in poisonous. Im not sure how true this is, but it certainly makes the area go numb and is annoying for about half an hour.
The only thing better than serenity is a two stroke at full throttle!

I've had some shockers (those deep punchers take ages to stop squirting) ...luckily they taste good

I assume the flathead that you're referring to, not the blood, lol.

I used those wet tissue baby wipe thing last time I got spiked and helped maybe coz of the alcohol in it.

You guessed right, I stopped drinking bodily fluids years ago.

Rub the puncture on the ass of the flathead. Right where it’s nice and yellow.

It will take the sting away.

Tried and tested.

Never been spiked myself, but had heard you'll get some relief by having somebody pee on it ( the puncture wound , not the fish) . ...and everyone knows you don't go wasting decent alcohol on a flesh wound.
