Wanting an Eildon (and surrounds) update

Hey guys,

How has eildon and the surrounding rivers been fishing lately? i know torut season has just opened so i might hit the streams as well as the pondage next week as I have a few days up there. Just wondering which rivers/creeks i should target?

G'day Simon2g must be a bit hit and miss by the sounds of things if you read through the opening week post you'll see that I was lucky enough to catch a couple in the Goulburn but others weren't best bet would be to head over there and give it a go and see how you fair.

If your heading to the pondage get yourself some white power bait and use a light running sinker rig around the bridge area. I took 4 nice trout there a week ago using that method. Not a touch on float rig and only saw 1 fish fall to a lure. Good luck. Richard.

I fished the goulburn near the breakaway a few times in the last couple of days. Didn't land any but missed a few. They're around!
