I've used cheese for Murray Cod as the shrimp come up and eat the cheese then then cod eat the whole thing. Never tried for redfin but I'm only fishing in a small Quarry so the only thing living in there are yabbys and Redfin.
Cheers,

This was taken by me on a full scrubbie not long ago, you can't go wrong with them mate

Stick to the worms bud, or yabbies for the bigger fish. Best reddy bait is live minnows imo though.
Cheese works for cod, and corn works for carp.

Once you have caught one you can use it for bait for the next one. Tough skin that stays on the hook and thinning out the small ones isn't a bad idea for an introduced species. Not a live bait though, just a little fillet.

Have had good success using the Redfin fillets as bait.
Might swap to sp or lures as sometimes the bait just won't entice them
