Brett wrote:Nice work Pat. I'm hoping to put some big baits out at that beach this summer. It's nice to know that a few toothy monsters are around, albeit they will probably end up being bloody gorilla's :(
Those catsharks are cool little critters also.
Thanks Brett. I actually don't think they were gillers, they were very quick and eratic. But who knows, maybe fired up gillers. Definitely worth a cast though.

Those guppies take me back to my schooling days when i used to breed them at home. Black whale tails were quite in demand
Thanks Steve. Haha the black whale tails bring back some memories, I always had a soft spot for them.
TheGreatestGoat wrote:Best report i've read on here. Top work mate. Congrats on finishing the thesis - wouldn't mind having a read, is it available?

Cheers,
Goat
Thanks mate, it's not all available yet. I did my thesis by publication and am still trying to get a few of my papers published. Here are links to a couple that have already been published:

Thinking more of baits that can't be cast ;-) might need to dust off the kayak :a_goodjob:

Great stuff Pat,
4 years of studying while fishing, who said life wasn't meant to be easy
I have trouble writing a letter, let alone 200 pages
You certainly deserve accolades :super: :super:
Get on to (uncle) Dave and get that big reddie

Cheers Gra
