marysville fishing report 20/12/13

Post by aussie_fisho » Fri Dec 20, 2013 2:45 pm

Went fishing in marysville today with great success. Got to marysville lake at 10:30 and the fish were biting straight away, first fish a nice 1.8kg rainbow with the first cast. After that caught about 12 smaller fish from 25-40cm. After 11 the fish stopped biting (must of been the heat) so moved on to the steavanson river casting small rapalas with about fi e browns biggest around the kilo mark. All up a good day for a day of 40c.

Well done bud that's a beauty. What's it's like up there since the fires a few years ago? It is a nice part of the world

Good stuff, sounds like it was a good trip. I'm going to have to get my but up there again soon and check it out, sounds promising again from your report, thanks.

Cheers , Rick.

Great stuff ... I love Mayrsville lake ... if I get donuts on the river, I just swing into M lake and get a couple just to feel good...
