hi all had a go at fishing the mitta river very clear water compared to the dirty water round here and COLD!!!!fished with lures for cod with no success threw a grub in while cooking breaky (the water is so clear u could see the grub at 20mtrs)and bang got this nice 20 pounder so 1 cod and 6 carp went home a happy fella to have cought my 1st clear water cod.cheers

nice looking fish, one of the best eating in my opinion, I just cant catch any.

they a different colour to they are real dark green almost black in the water couldn't really see it till it rolled over and showed its belly
