Help with garfish

Post by barwonboy » Mon Jun 19, 2017 5:20 pm

Hey guys just wondering if anyone is willing to let me know of some good gar fishing spots around port Phillip bay. I used to catch them at Barwon heads but not anymore. Any tips will be appreciated  :water:

For land based try Griffin Gully Jetty in Geelong. Get a fine berley trail of bread crumbs going and use a small bubble or pencil float with size 8 long shank hook. You will need to adjust your bait to the depth the fish are feeding at.
