Fishing lake bullen merri

Hi there!!

Heading up to the angling club in 2 weeks does any one have any tips
On bait to use and rigs to use.ill be fishing from the bank aswell and any berley receipes or trout dough receipes out there!!

It's slow goin arm my club fished it last weekend 7 blokes for 4 fish in 2 days, most fish were caught in the shallows so hopefully u can get amongst them.. Mudeyes under a float surprisingly did no good.. Gold vibrax spinners worked and cast n retrieving tastie Devils (white n pink dots) also worked
If I'm not fishing, I'd rather be fishing!

It's a lake that can turn on and off like a light switch. The fish are certainly there, and there are some monsters in amongst them. It can be a bloody frustrating place to fish sometimes though...lol.

Big Gav - did the lads punch out baits after dark? Gudgeon or mudeyes under floats?

Salted pilchards/bluebait is a popular bait there for chinooks.
