Ponds in St Albans

Evening all,

There is a series of ponds next to Vic uni in St Albans that i have fished in the past after hearing reports of reddies. It made sense for me to fish there as it's close to home and surely if the reddies have found their way into the cairnlea lakes, then they must have gone through there. I'm just wondering if anyone has caught anything down there(even carp), other than plagues of mosquito fish? I'm in swotvac right now and I wanna go for a fish first thing after exams, otherwise I'd have gone down and sussed the are for myself first. PM me if you'd rather keep things quiet, I'd be happy to share whatever i may know about other fishing spots in the area.

Here's the location:

hope your studying hard mate good luck with your exams.

As for the location you are talking about I haven't personally fished their but ill give it a 98% sure that fish are lurking around.

Fishos are constantly there parking next the bridge and heading down. Some people have been fishing that spot for years.

I would definitely recommend you try.

Cheers Joker
