Freshwater fishing spots.

Post by Ocelot » Mon Jun 27, 2016 9:13 pm

Hi, I have barely posted on the forum, but I have decided to get back into fishing. I was wondering what are some good spots around the Northern Suburbs (Mill Park). Im willing to travel about and hour. Thanks in advance. :-D

It's a reference to a TV show called Archer, it's the name of a pet Ocelot.

Coburg lake has some seriously big carp in it and a few guys on here seem to do ok in the Plenty River.

Oh yeah, Cheryl's pet. I went to the plenty river today, had nothing, not sure if it was the weather or doing something wrong (most likely that). Ill have to check out coburg lake. Is there places to dispose of the carp there, or use it as fertiliser?

Yeah. Park on Crissane St on weekends (it gets crowded during the week).

Ok thanks. Just dough and corn for the carp and worms or sp for redfin? There is the Austrian club that has parking there too.
