Seymour fishing
Hi all,
Heading up to Seymour tomorrow and wondering if the Goulburn going through there is worth fishing? Any spots in particular where people are catching too?

Re: Seymour fishing
How did you go mate, any fish? It's a bit late now but you are allowed to fish downstream of the Trawool Bridge, which by chance is where Seymour is, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Seymour fishing
Seymour is downstream of prime trout river hence you can fish it. Just cant keep any trout if you do find any. Redfin is main fish there with a chance of yellow or cod. plenty of access either south of town along the park ramp., or north west around lions park.
Doubt it would be overly productive in the dead of winter

Re: Seymour fishing
Hi there just wondering if there’s a good population or cod and yellas in Seymour. Is it worth trying with some lures?
