Gippy Crays Dandenong creek?

G'day fella's was wondering if there are gippy crays in the Dandenong creek? I'm talking the big green ones with orange underbelly (e. kershawi).
The creek starts in Olinda and looks pretty unmodified down until Bayswater. Logic tells me they should be there unless the water is polluted. Mainly just curious how far into the suburbs these crays actually go?
