Barmah next week
Going Tuesday, staying at the Murray perch caravan park ($80 a night)
Need to make up some rigs, with scented ping pong balls (yellow)
These are my "new" secret weapon. All other secret weapons gave failed
May take my bath duckie (quack quack) & float him near some snags
Will have, worms and corn and VB
Can't wait
Gra
P.s. taking the trailer, in case some redgum falls into it

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Graham, the cod are hard work at the moment. Talking to some locals the crays are running quite well.

Re: Barmah next week
Drew used to swear by using pumpkim but anything that smells bad to us smells pretty good to a cray

Re: Barmah next week
I took Drew's advice and tried pumpkin...it works! Whilst I haven't tried carp, I know a lot of experienced crayers use it. Good luck Tex!

Sounds like a great time Tex. Caravan Parks are always fun, they are full of characters, with an extra one getting there TuesdayTexas wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 12:12 pmGoing Tuesday, staying at the Murray perch caravan park ($80 a night)

Let's hope the Redgum falls into small pieces before it falls into your trailer.
All the best of luck Gra
