No sight casting today Dougie, tried the 'wait-and-see' approach...bloody freezing out there today

I'm about to head down that way to catch up with some friends, might throw a rod in.

Good to see you back around btw mate. I'm considering exploring some streams nearby to TNA for trout if you're interested in coming for a bush bash one day.

Got a new set-up I see CC? I'll probably get up there during the week after the kids go back to school. Wed/Thurs mornings as I'm now basing myself at Inverloch.

I was at TNA today, ended up with 22 all up. Great little session.

Interestly, I came across some artwork which I hadn't noticed before. Believe it or not, it states that TNA (an 'urban fishery') was stocked in 1988 with Golden Perch, Rainbow Trout, Redfin and Yabbies!

Which makes me wonder how all the Carp got in there...

Just wanted to put it out there, when I was in primary school we each made a paver that got put into one of TNAs footpaths.

Mine was of a fish, (I was a keen fisher person even 20 years ago - if you look around u can probably find it)

I am now claiming it was of the colonel as a young carp. I must have had some kind of premonition about him
