Murray Cod - Share you knowledge and you could win a prize
Do you fish for Murray Cod?
Do you want to help improve the sustainability of this iconic native species and the cod fishing experience? Have your say and participate in our survey. You don't have to be a Cod fisher to complete the survey - we want to know the understanding of a wide cross section of the fishing community. Feel free to pass the link on to your friends and share with them the opportunity to contribute and maybe win a prize.
VRFish is conducting an angler survey to assess fish handling practices and angler understanding of current size and catch limits. Your response to our survey is very valuable. The information you provide will help improve fish handling practices and potentially increase the survival rate of released Murray cod.
AND by completing our survey, you may be eligible to win a cod fishing pack.

Re: Murray Cod - Share you knowledge and you could win a pri
I started to fill out this survey until it asked what percentage of time I fish for cod to keep/eat. I wanted to enter 0%, but it wouldn't accept it. I don't keep Cod, all C&R. so that put an end to that survey, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Done. It wouldn't let me enter the amount of times I've been cod fishing in the last 12 months. Being 40 plus.
Cheers, Scott.

I filled in the survey and then they wanted my personal details so they can put me into the prize draw.
I ain't interested in no prizes so I left it blank.
They wouldn't accept my survey.

I'll give it a miss this time vrfish.vrfish wrote: Moeee, would you like me to send it to you by email. Your feedback is important.

I just prefer to remain anonymous at this time.
I haven't fished for over a year now , so my input would not be significant compared to regular fisherpeople.

If all the work done and expenses allocated were only spent towards dedicated fishing enthusiasts , then what would be the attraction to non fisher people to partake in the industry?
And it does seem as though vrFish wants to attract casual fishers as much as he does the regulars - perhaps moreso?
