And no, unless you have a huge cast to get over the sand bar, chances of getting them from the beach are slim lolFishnMiss wrote:Keep an eye open for the reports. If they're running there then you could possibly get them from the beach or rocks nearby.

When I was there earlier the whole side of the pier was full, people where casting over each other, pushing everyone out of the way. Was just to much

How does at least one person not walk away from situations like that without a treble hook up the nose?trebbalzzz wrote:When I was there earlier the whole side of the pier was full, people where casting over each other, pushing everyone out of the way. Was just to much

Not necessarily, I've caught 1, 5 Kg sambos on a sand bar before in less than 2m water, it just depends. You never know.Scraglor wrote:And no, unless you have a huge cast to get over the sand bar, chances of getting them from the beach are slim lolFishnMiss wrote:Keep an eye open for the reports. I figured everyone & their dog knew about it so I'm not too fussed.Scraglor wrote:And this is the reason I have stopped posting reports. Where is your local mate? Just an FYI, the pier was at capacity tonight, will be unfishable from now on. lol. I stated I would share info via PM for this reason.FishnMiss wrote:Franga pier mate.
They been smashing them for a few hours, going nuts I'm told.
I dont really care, as the fish are either there or not, chances are people that go there tomorrow will get donuts, but still.
I very rarely fish piers because of overcrowding, rudeness etc.
I'd rather not fish than have to deal with all that nonsense.

Haha, yeah they do, facebooks a shocker for that these days. To be honest, I hate pier fishing because of it myself. It would be ok if people were able to cast straight.FishnMiss wrote:I figured everyone & their dog knew about it so I'm not too fussed.Scraglor wrote:And this is the reason I have stopped posting reports.
