Only a single bite on the Yarra
I took a few hours to sit by the Yarra this morning and only got one bite on worms.
Lucky for me it was a good one! My biggest carp to date.

That carp is better than a donut mate, well done, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Fishmongers in the markets often have them. Wonder if they are recreationally caught, or commercially????hunsky wrote:walked by a fish monger in Northland last night and noticed that they have whole carps up for sale, for $9.8/kg

I could have cashed it in? I ended up giving it to another fisherman who was going to cook it up.

A recreational fisherman can't sell his catch.laneends wrote:Fishmongers in the markets often have them. Wonder if they are recreationally caught, or commercially????hunsky wrote:walked by a fish monger in Northland last night and noticed that they have whole carps up for sale, for $9.8/kg
