Western Port Whiting Challenge 2018

Post by Whiskers » Fri Aug 11, 2017 9:41 pm

It looks like the annual Western Port Whiting Challenge 2018 may be the last.

The following is an extract from this months news letter from the Western Port Angling club.

"PRESIDENTS REPORT - Bob Wilkinson
Hello to all the Members,
As you all should know by now, The Whing Challenge last year only earned us $1000.00 Profit.
As this small profit was earned by the wonderful efforts of so very few club members, it has been decided
that the 2018 Challenge could be out last unless many more people come on board to help."

Looks like a very familiar scenario. 5% of the members doing 95% of the work.

Nah, the bigger, better run clubs will keep going because they'll offer more than VIC PPB WPB SNAPPER FISHO'S Facebook group #12594 can.
2015/16 Fisting Victoria Species comp total: 289cm
Brown Trout: 37cm
Flathead: 51cm; Squid: 36cm; Australian Salmon: 51cm; Snapper 46cm; Silver Trevally 23cm; KGW: 45cm
Major Sponsor: Rim Master Tackle
