Re: offshore Lakes Entrance for Easter
also I must say lakes entrance is one of the worst places for nuffy vacationers who have no idea about boat etiquette or boating in general. I dont know how many times a hire boat filled with obnoxious asians almost ran me into some kind of obstruction like a marker, or some millionaire idiot in a 30 foot searae bow runner hammering past me outside the channel at 35 knots while I'm at anchor

Re: offshore Lakes Entrance for Easter
This is why the locals tend to leave their boats at home during the holidays. So many forget to take their manners when they head off on holidays. The hire boats do not require a licence or common sense.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Yeah the hire boat system is an absolute joke. Definitely needs to be looked at.re-tyred wrote:This is why the locals tend to leave their boats at home during the holidays. So many forget to take their manners when they head off on holidays. The hire boats do not require a licence or common sense.
