Before you commit to specific Lighting you need to know:-
1...Number of lights you intend to fit.
2...The power consumption of each light.
3...Estimated time you will have the lights "On"
4...How long will your Battery Last.
5...Do you need to fit a dual Battery System - One for Cranking Motor // One to supply all other electrics Electronics

Do not forget that every electric / electronic device you install has a power requirement. You will need to calculate the minimum power required when "Everything" "On"

Also when doing you wiring you need to select and install the correct Size Wire for each application / device.

Too small a wire diameter/ construction can cause problems as can too larger wire diameter/construction.

Great advice Russell, thanks,
Don't go to far away please !!! will be starting with the wiring in a month or so........
It did have and will again have dual battery set up.
Been doing a fair bit of research on boat wiring, I will give this a shot, with advice and just get someone to go over it once I'm done, for safety reasons.
I mean, whats the worst that can happen !! I don't like the guy in the neighbouring factory !!
And there's plenty of water whilst out fishing !!! LOL.
I know full well what can happen with bad wiring, watched a friends boat near go up in flames after he got a deck wash fitted, by an un-named local mechanic ! who has been recommended on here before !!

Glad to help.
One other thing, once you have figured out how many circuits / wires you need, and have selected the appropriate size wire conductor, try NOT to change the Insulation colour in any multi circuit connector.
Always use the same size wire and the same colour Insulation throughout each circuit ie. Green/Green/Green Not:- Green/Brown/Red
Always work from the Instrument / Electronic device back, depending on the country of origin the Power and Earth Insulation colour may be different to others.
Some might have Red as Power, or, Brown for Power, or, Blue for Power etc
Be very careful and make sure that you identify every wire and it's function.
Yes tedious but certainly worthwhile in the end.

The 64 million dollar question !
Look, I hope to have the fit out done by years end, then bolt on a new 4 stroke.
But its more about doing it properly, this is a complete rebuild, I have a shell only.
I've been doing bits and pieces while the main fibre glass work was being done, stripping the aluminium front screen and powdercoating, replacing acrylic etc etc, modifying new seat boxes etc etc So there's still a lot of things to build within it and to refit and modify.
Then work gets in the way and all my other projects, so haven't set a completion date......

What kind of 4 stroke you thinking of putting on the back? :)

Good question, down to either the 140 suk, or the 115 merc command thrust, leaning towards the merc at the minute.
But maybe another manufacturer will come up with a newer lighter higher H.P by the time I start to look.
But on all accounts, the merc is certainly performing well on all accounts
