How I catch KGWhiting at St Leonards

I have a Snapper Reel attached to side of boat to lower Berley Cage down
Use a compressed mixtue of Bran and Tuna Oil from Marios for $6 lasts about 4 trips-Its made in Pt Lincoln SA
Have a bucket full of Mussles -Throw some in once and a while

Rod is a Nibbble Tip.8ft 6in long-With a 2500 Twin Power with crank handle.8 lb mono line

Partanoster Rig using a 3 way swivel and 10 kg mono line for sinker leader, 300mm long and hook leader about 1200 long with a 92608 Mustad no4 hook
I use a no1 sinker 1ounce

Bait is nearly always squid caucht locally and never purchased.Cleaned spotlessly bashed to made it sticky and cut into strips about 20mm long and 7 mm wide

Some good info there Denis. For some reason mussels have always been my most successful whiting bait.

Hard to argue with any of that Denis, and wouldn,t want to with your record on KGW.
However personal preference is to do away with the 3 way swivel hardware.
