That looked like it really hurt mate, i hope it doesnt take too long to come good again. As dave highlighted, getting injured when your alone is a scary thaught, it looked like you kept your cool though. Its all character and wisdom building, thanks for posting it up. The video might pop back into someones head when they go to climb a wet log in the future and save them an injury

Thanks for all the comments guys. Sometimes these things happen. Hopefully someone learns from my mistake and it saves them some pain!

Mate the shoulder is bad enough but in the slo mo replay the family jewels almost got ripped off by one of them stump roots. Noooooott goooooood.

If you watch it again when I am talking to the camera you can see it sitting on top of the log I fell off. :water: I chucked it up there and went to jump up... It didn't move and was waiting for me after I had my little sook about it haha.

I never felt that part haha must have just missed or been saved by the jacket/angle of the fall.

Ouch - made this old fella take notice
Glad you fuzzed out when you slammed your shoulder against the stump, to put it back in
Borrow a game fishing harness, then you only need one arm.
Seriously though, take it easy and hope you mend quickly
