Flathead sashimi

Post by eddyt » Mon Aug 13, 2018 1:16 pm

Anyone ever tried flathead raw? They always end up battered and fried for me but want to try something different. What's the texture/taste like?

Got a Japanese fisho mate who told me that it is risky to eat them raw cause they are bottom feeders.

Different taste for different people. How boring life would be if everything was beer battered with chips mate.

Haha ok I think I'll stick to deep fried. Used to crumb and pan fry and it's not bad either. Will stick to pelagics for sashimi
