Getting ready for fishing

Post by Wolly Bugger » Thu Sep 13, 2018 9:10 pm

Just had the boat serviced, and will need some new batteries in the near future. So the plan is too hit the snapper as much as possible I have two weeks holiday in Oct and invited my middle brother down, for a fish, he recently lost his wife and hasn;t been able to wet a line for decades.

Been tying some rigs for the snapper and oiling the reels, Hopefully this year I'll get to hook and land my first mako, now that I have alittle bit extra range.

So hopefully after a very poor result for the last few years, the fishing gods will smile.

I hope they smile for you and your brother too wolly. Can't wait to hear the stories. I've got similar plans to you with the snapper and mako.. hopefully the kings come back in numbers as well.

Cheers, Anth

It's been a very lean couple of years for me too, hope you do well in your two weeks off, hope to be out there myself more than I have been over the last few years too!

Best of luck and great for both you and your brother, I'm sure he will love it to take his mind off things.
