First ever Bluefin

Post by Marty.A » Tue Mar 05, 2019 4:15 pm

Hello All

I headed out to Port Fairy last weekend just before my dads next op and scored 2 nice Bluefins a 25 and 31kg.We fished around Lady Julia as they were busting up on the southern side.Intially we went bottom bouncing as no schools were spotted but early afternoon it was hectic for about an hour.Happy to tick off another species and special thanks to Salty Dog Charters Dan is a wonderful skipper and top bloke.

Thanks mate just trolling skirts close to fish busting on the surface and he had one of those squid flasher rigs down the back.
