Re: Looking for my old kingswood wagon (frankston area)
yeah quite a lot of $$$ spent and quite a few extremely rare parts on that car like the exhaust which was the subject of a massive bidding war on a japanese auction site and was one of 3 in australia at the time and not made since the 1990s, the front lip which was imported in a group buy from the states, until then nobody had one in australia, the wheels which cost me an arm and a leg to get from japan because they are not made anymore and fetch quite a lot of money (2k plus) even today (if you can find a good set)Lightningx wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 8:09 pmDam Steve! i spent a lot of time doing quite a lot of modifications to it myself, and i still do the same today except it is now to the boat
i should have kept it and put it on club rego as of this year april the car would be 29 years old, dont think you would pick it if i didnt mention it

Re: Looking for my old kingswood wagon (frankston area)
Nice car, looks just like my brothers one did - same colour and all just without the roof scoop (to the untrained eye anyway). I wasn’t sure if they came factory twin turbo as my brothers friend had a twin turbo (must’ve been aftermarket), even the single turbo had plenty of up n go. He always referred to it as the “poor mans ferrari”purple5ive wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 6:48 pmyeah they are quick alright! they never came in twin turbo. single turbo (jdm) , n/a and supercharged (jdm) versions only.Tim399 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 5:15 pmMy brother had an MR2 (single turbo) at one stage.. it was a little rocket!purple5ive wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 11:07 amIf it's still living I'd say it's on club rego.
