Dual battery charging
I need to extend the length of my dual charger leads do they have to be same length that is battery A being same as B or can A be longer than B
Re: Dual battery charging
The manual and descriptions read as 2 chargers in the one 'box', THe instructions dont say how to 'turn 1 off' so I guess you just dont connect the 2nd set of clips.
If you do lengthen the leads, use wire of at least the same size as whats supplied with the charger.. but do keep the leads as short as practicable.

Re: Dual battery charging
The unit will be designed to account for the length of the leads, but adding only a short length will cause minimal problem. I'd be surprised if adding a meter changed the 'end voltage' by 0.1 volts.

Re: Dual battery charging
Using a cable size calculator if I extended the leads by 2 mts using 2.5ms cable I get a volt drop of 1.2% or 0.18 volts assume there is 14.8v at the end of the supplied leads gives a charge voltage of 14.62volts
