I am selling my Shimano Scorpion BFS reel. Left hand wind. You can have it for $250. Has 8lb Sunline Siglon braid on it. Have only been used a handful of times in freshwater. Superb condition. I can post to you.

I'm selling the rod too btw.

Are you a right handed person?
If yes, your right hand should be the one holding the rod and reel, doing the casting and twitching, you'll have more control and power.

One advantage of baitcast over spin, is that you dont need to close bail arm. A lot quicker to engage, and to retrieve/action the lure. More effective, especially ehen fishing fast running water or strong current/drift
Hence, cast with your dominant hand, and retrieve/wind with the other.

Up to everyone ofc. Personally, since I started doing that, I could never go back. It was weird at start, eventually got use to it.

Note: that reel brand new is $300+ reel, the line is probably $25.

Okay fair enough, you tried, not for everyone.

It's Majorcraft Finetail 582 BFS rod.
Ultra light. Suits trout fishing, reddies too. It's a $230'ish brand new. Same deal, used few times in freshwater. Selling for $170.
