Yabbies melbourne

Does anyone know where in or around melbourne to catch yabbies? Im in patterson lakes and was thinking of trying karkarook park.. any help would be awesome

Used to catch plenty of them at Ringwood Lake when I was a kid. Just used some meat from home as bait

It's getting a bit cold they will be down in the mud by now. Try ringing around a few tackle shops as some get farmed yabbies or they bring them in from interstate

If the month doesn't have an R in the name then don't bother trying. Tackle shop would the go. Little guys only good for bait around 10 bucks for a dozen.

Basically any lake or water hole will have yabbies in it!
PB- Snapper 55cm, Whiting 38cm, Flathead 55cm, Bream 38cm, Australian Salmon 55cm, Carp 80cm
