Hello Jason,
Even though I struggle to make sense of a majority of your posts, its doesn't mean that I don't enjoy reading them. But to be honest I'm getting a little tired of reading that you are trying to catch this mega melon knobby red with your shaolin handline techniques. It is never going to happen, so I am prepared to donate to you a 10ft surf rod and reel outfit that is surplus to my needs in order to give you a greater chance at catching this mega red. Hopefully it will allow you to spend your savings on some quality terminal tackle. Good luck in your pursuit of this dream

Very noble offer, but one that may end the narrative...

You should take it Jase.
You will have a much better chance at landing a decent red than with a handline mate :)

As lighting and rb have said take the offer for a good rod and reel for nothing at cost to you so you can chase the fish you want thats something very few people do these days is offer up gear they dont need.
