Hey lightingx we only got 14 squid no whiting had a bit of thouble with mates motor so did not stay for evening whiting sess
My new Quinnie will be fishabout 490 (5.1m hull) with yammy70 4st

Hi all gonna fish st.leonards area tomorrow seeing the weather looks good starting with squid around high tide around 1pm and then hopefully whiting on run out, was wanting to know if any whiting around there

Good work but those striped fish are angelfish a close relative of luderick, the luderick have 10-11stripes and have pure black eyes and are a longer body fish,the angelfish pull pretty good also sounds like u had a ball

I find wedge spit area in 2.5 to 3m most consistent all year around except in August/September when most if the weed beds are brown in which case out off point cook pier is good in around 3.5 to 4m

I would suggest using st.leonards ramp,dont have to worry about sand bars and all the species u mentioned are available at the right time and tide
