Jamieson River and surrounds
Good evening all, I am booked in for a week at the Jamieson Caravan Park in a few weeks time. I have never fished the area before. I noticed the Jamieson River and Goulburn Rivers are very close by. I intend to do a bit of fishing whilst there and was wondering if anyone knows how this area is fishi...

Re: Eel fishing around Bennalla, Euroa, Shepperton
Mate I think you will struggle to catch an eel anywhere north of the divide. Probably no eels in any of the areas you mentioned.

Re: Goulburn river near Shepparton yesterday
Thanks guys.
Bugatti I’ll probably just stuff it with lemon wedges and rosemary, wrap it in foil and put it in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
I’d much prefer to cook it under hot coals but won’t have the time to get a fire going.

Goulburn river near Shepparton yesterday
Hey guys, I headed out to the Goulburn River near Shepparton yesterday. Fished from 10am until around 4pm. Managed to get 2 decent yellowbelly (41 cm and 43cm) and 2 small cod. I kept 1 yella and the cod were returned immediately obviously. Scrub worms seemed to be the bait of choice as all 4 fish w...

Re: King Parrot Creek donuts
I caught a Macca last time I was there on worms. Safely released obviously but it’s good to see them in there. It wasn’t running really fast but I did have to get out and bash my way along the bank because it got a bit deep in a few spots. I’ll probably head back this coming week and have another go...

King Parrot Creek donuts
Hi all, Been a while since I posted. I headed across to the King Parrot last Friday and braved the poor weather forecast. I fished between Flowerdale and Hazeldene from 7am until 10am wading using celtas and a few soft plastics. I had a good hit on the celta but the fish jumped and spat the hook. It...

Re: 3 people die today! RIP
This is what i was talking about. While i understand this cant be allowed, i will bet my mother in law that the perpetrator here will be jailed but the Melbourne killer will get a slap on his wrist. By the way, deer hunting , skippy cull and duck hunting are legal so why are they making such a big ...

Jamieson - Kevington - Woods Point
Happy new year all, My wife has just given me the green light to head away for a few nights and go camping in a few weeks. I was thinking of heading to the Jamieson, Kevington, Woods Point area where I can combine my two hobbies, fishing and gold prospecting. I've had a bit of a look on google and t...
