Over the years I've tried for whiting from Altona to wedge spit in the colder months without any success so instead of wasting time trying I just go over that area The water temp is about 1-2°warmer from Port Arlington to Queenscliff in the shallows ,maybe due to the extensive weed beds or being in...

Just had a look and it’s still closed Went out on the kayak there 3 weeks ago and stopped at the yellow bouys at the entrance to check the depth, using the paddle as depth gauge seemed a bit over metre at mid tide. The busy season is going to be interesting regarding the less room and other wash do...

Hi guys, I’m just wondering what the most successful lure that you have caught pike on is?. I have been using a rapala f4 with success but after the last four trips have been zilch. Generally troll around Prince George bank.

It may have had a pump for live bait tanks. Could be drains or fill points.

As I live a minute away from this boat ramp I checked it out today. All I can say is what a waste of money! The parking has been cut drastically with approx 30 parks now available.
