Just on the spikes, they do hurt, like getting hit on the finger with a hammer but for a few hours. Dunno if the fish varies in strength but i know that people are effected differently. Had a big tough mate of mine whine like a ***** all day..it was unbearable. Another fella who is a bit of a sook g...

Crack a stubbie and drop an unweighted half peeled prawn close to the jetty pylons for bream.
Flick a few plastics deeper into the channels for the chance of a flat head..might even get spooled by one of these king fish I hear are around Metung.
Go for a prawn..the dark is around then :a_goodjob:

Went for a fish Sunday ...had a late start got to the pipeline around 10:30. Fished in 45m for a few tiger flathead then went in closer to shore for one cracking snapper and a couple of pinkies. Absolutely magic weather. Thanks to retired for a bit of information earlier on in the week...legend. :a_...

According to some surfer mates at lakes the weed has cleared up, the prawn trawlers are back in action.
One has been beached though the other night just near the bluff.
