Attempted to fish off Ocean Grange on Tuesday night and yes the weed is ridiculous.
Spun up a few salmon but bait fishing was impossible.

Im undecided where to go..we are having a fish off the beach sunday night around the grange ..thats locked in.
Decide thursday night over a few ales i suppose, im pretty keen on the pipeline though.

Going out Friday with a mate down for the weekend for a crack at the snapper.
Leaving from Lakes.
Worth a look at the pipeline or should we just hit the 6mile up??
Weather looks ok at this stage..bit of rain around but thats no prob.

Gps/Sounder combo advice.
I am at a stage with my project I need to be sorting out a sounder combo. Its a 36ft flybridge. I will be mainly cruising the gippsland lakes system and fishing the reefs off Lakes Enstrance now and again. When the confidence gets up might do some bigger trips, chase the swordfish etc. I want a 9/10...

He has a flash new boat I have been watching getting built by the boys at Bass Straight Boats. i just had 2 BSB's go past my place one with what looks like a volvo penta stern drive and the other had twin mercs or zukes on the back so looks like he has 2 going now .
