I agree. Still - given the choices around us if I was fishing for a feed then the 'Nong and Yarra wouldn't be high up on my list. I think DPI say limit to one a week and none for preggo's or kids. Personally I wouldn't eat any fish from those systems out of choice .... and definitely not resident o...

Go back there and you will see them. Sometimes they end up getting flushed out only to move back in again. Or they move right into the deep middle.

Well done. When I take my kids there and feed bread to the birds, the carp usually join in. Not too shy actually. The ones seems to look pretty clean as well ? Hopefully Reddies in there. Have you tried the lakes around Tenerfield ? ALways heaps of people fishing around there.

Docklands aint Dead. It is never Dead, but certain parts definately are like North Wharfe. Fish are sitting low obviously due to the divers and salvage crews all over the place.
