Slimy mackerel is right up there in my list of favourites. Grilled with lemon and pepper, or Japanese style aged and marinated in rice wine vinegar. Only problem is finding them. Spot on mix tuna oil or chopped pilchards ,black and gold tuna for cats is the blood line great berley or ground salmon.
Except for whiting we just check the pellets out nothing else tends to not bring in the crap fish
